We are seeking a skilled and experienced Front End Developer to join our team. As a Front End Developer at Nimbl Consulting, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and interactive user interfaces for web-based applications and websites. You will collaborate closely with our designers, back-end developers, and project managers to implement efficient and scalable front-end solutions. The ideal candidate is proficient in front-end technologies, has a strong problem-solving mindset, and stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate design concepts into functional front-end solutions.
- Develop responsive and accessible web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Implement and maintain front-end architecture and best practices to ensure scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end interfaces with server-side technologies and APIs.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Optimize web applications for speed and performance to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure seamless and intuitive user interactions.
- Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to continually enhance skills and knowledge.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, identify bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Qualifications needed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role, demonstrating a strong portfolio of web-based projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Familiarity with server-side technologies and APIs to facilitate front-end integration.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to effectively work in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code.
